Competition Team
Information
Beginning with the 2022-2023 season, dancers age 5 and up are eligible to audition for the Competition Team. Team Members are required to take Tap, Ballet, Jazz and attend weekly Team Rehearsals.
Class requirements will differ based on age. They are required to attend Team Summer session and Team Dance Camp. They are expected to attend all extra rehearsals held in preparation for a dance competitions.
They are required to attend one dance convention, 2-3 competitions each season in addition to performing for civic organizations and nursing homes.
Older members are also expected to captain routines, mentor younger students, compete more routines and do student choreography.
